Every November, CSU Long Beach recognizes International Education Week (IEW). This year, MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú will expand IEW by celebrating our first Global Engagement Month (GEM), serving as a platform to emphasize the value of international education and exchange throughout November! CSU Long Beach is devoted to enriching the lives of our students and community through globally aware, impactful educational experiences.

      • International Student Advocate Network (ISAN) is osted by CIE's International Students and Scholars Services
      • Join the ISA Network program to learn about updates on immigration policy influencing International Students. Learn how to better support and interact with MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú international students. Hear directly from students about their experiences! Both new and seasoned advisors and staff are highly encouraged to attend!

      • Enjoy a variety of activities with a Global diversity focus. Learn about MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú departments and services that support MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú goals towards internationalization. Celebrate International Education and Exchange with the MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú campus community.

  • Friday, November 21
    • Intercultural Diplomat Program Application Deadline is Today: is seeking international students who are enthusiastic and culturally aware to join the team as Intercultural Diplomats.
      • Ideal candidates will have a passion for sharing their culture, possess the ability to view global events from an international perspective, and communicate effectively with youth.
      • Applicants must be full-time international or exchange students at MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú, in good academic standing, and located in the Long Beach area during Spring 2026.
      • If you have experience with intercultural programs and are excited to make a positive impact on local youth, we encourage you to apply []

MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú will designate the entire month of November as "Global Engagement Month" (GEM) to further promote the significance of the traditional International Education Week (IEW). Since many other programs get a whole month, why not international education?  Our aim is to increase awareness, visibility, and impact, particularly as we navigate through volatility in immigration policy and various global challenges that affect our campuses.
