Before Your SOAR Workshop
- Double check your SOAR workshop date via in the admissions section
- Pay for SOAR and other outstanding balances
- Check your account regularly
- Complete the Pre-SOAR Course on
- Complete the Advising & Registration Survey sent from your designated advising center
- Request accommodations via the
- Make transportation arrangements – parking is included as part of your SOAR Fee
Getting Ready to Attend Your SOAR Workshop!
- Review your reminder email for details
- Bring a water bottle
- Bring a form of photo ID (driver's license or school ID)
- Wear appropriate attire and comfortable shoes
- Remember we have a NO Guest policy – supporters/family should attend Parent & Family Orientation (PFO)
- Check for emails from your designated advising center – you may need to bring a copy of transcripts or other documents showing college credit you've earned
After Your SOAR Workshop
- Submit your vaccine certification form – visit for step-by-step directions
- Pay your fees/tuition – visit Tuition & Fees to learn more
- Get your Beach ID Card by submitting a photo for your ID card and picking it up after attending SOAR

SOAR is a required of all incoming students. It is essential you complete this requirement, so you are able to enroll in classes.

While at SOAR, academic advisors provide an introduction to your General Education and major requirements, as well as assist you with enrolling in classes.
