Veterans Services Orientation

Veterans Services Orientation is designed to help military-connected students successfully transition into life at The Beach. At orientation, you’ll receive an introduction to campus resources, learn how to use your education benefits, meet the Veterans Services team and build community with fellow students.

If you are starting your program in the summer, submit a Request for Enrollment Certification then follow the instructions for Fall 2026 Admits. We will contact you if we need anything else!

The Veterans Services Orientation will cover the services available to you and answer any questions you may have about using your VA benefits at MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú.

Orientation dates and information will be updated on June 1.

While you wait, we encourage you to attend an upcoming virtual Benefits Workshop. 
These sessions will walk you through how to apply for, use, and maximize your VA education benefits. We will also have a CalVet representative available to guide you through the CalVet Fee Waiver application process.

Dependents
If you are not using any benefits, i.e. Ch. 33 Post-9/11 G.I. Bill, Ch. 35 DEA or the CalVet Fee Waiver, or are using ONLY the CalVet Fee Wavier, attendance is optional but encouraged to make sure you know what resources may be available to you. CalVet Fee Waivers can be emailed to our office. Please include your campus ID number.
