Fix-It Parking Citations

A fix-it parking citation is an issued violation for minor vehicular or documentation non-compliance under California Vehicle Code (CVC). Once the violation is fixed and verified, California Vehicle Code allows for a reduced correction fee instead of the original citation amount.

If you received a citation for failing to properly display your active, DMV-issued Disabled Person Parking Placard, you may be eligible to reduce your citation fine to a $25 administrative correction fee in accordance with the California Vehicle Code (CVC) 40226.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Violation Code: H2 H-SPC W/O VIS PLACRD PRO.
  • You must be the registered owner of the DMV-issued disabled placard.
  • Your placard must be active at the time of receiving the citation.
  • Citation corrections are accepted at any time.

2. Wait for Approval

You will receive a confirmation email once your submitted documentation has been reviewed and approved.
