General Membership
The CSU STEM Pathways and Research Alliance (CSU-SPaRA) is a coordinated systemwide program aimed at preparing the next generation of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) workers and graduate students. At MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú, our program offers activities and professional development designed to improve the retention, graduation, and degree attainment of undergraduate students in STEM.
Application
Students may apply to the general CSU-SPaRA program at any time.

Benefits
Benefits to participating in the general program at MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú include:
- Career and research advising
- STEM textbook reimbursement (upon reimbursement approval)
- Workshops and guest speakers
- Assistance with graduate school application
- Network with other undergraduates and alumni
Some of these benefits have additional eligibility requirements and limited capacity.
In addition to the general benefits, CSU-SPaRA members are eligible apply for the following funded research programs:
- CSU-SPaRA Research Fellows (academic year)
- CSU-SPaRA Summer Program
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Be enrolled at a participating CSU campus in an undergraduate major in a STEM discipline.
- Be an individual interested in pursuing graduate studies or join the workforce in a STEM field that is outside the health profession degrees or careers.
