Academic Advising
Sociology advising is limited during the summer with primary focus on incoming transfer students. However, please feel free to email us and check our calendar for assistance.
During the summer, the CLA Advising Center (ATLAS) is available to support students when Department Advisors are unavailable. Please review  hours and instructions to connect with an advisor.
Welcome New Transfers for Fall 2026!
- Be sure to sign up for SOAR orientation
- Please look for emails from Sociology Advising starting in early June
- We will offer group advising welcome sessions for new transfers starting in July
- We will also offer daily drop-in advising in case you need assistance when registering for classes (the day after your SOAR orientation)
