Welcome
The Community Clinic for Counseling and Educational Services (formerly Educational Psychology Clinic) has been the setting for affordable counseling, academic intervention, and psychoeducational assessment services for more than 50 years. The Community Clinic serves two primary functions for the community:
- It provides comprehensive educational and psychological services for members of the community at a low cost.
- It is a training site for the School Psychology, Counseling Psychology master’s degree programs at CSU Long Beach.
Services at the Community Clinic are provided by advanced graduate students under the direct supervision of faculty in the College of Education. Referrals are made to outside sources when necessary. We look forward to serving you and your family!
Enrolling Fall 2026
We are currently enrolling for fall services. Exact start/end dates and times are subject to change.
Adult Individual Counseling
- Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays: 4:00 pm & 5:00 pm appointment times (50-minute sessions)
- Dates: September - December 2026
- Cost: $20 per session
Youth Counseling (ages 6-17 years)
- Tuesdays: 4:30 pm & 5:30 pm appointment times (50-minute sessions)
- Dates: October - December 2026
- Cost: $20 per session
Academic Intervention (ages 6-17 years)
- Mondays & Wednesdays: 4:30 - 5:30 pm appointment times
- Dates: October - November 2026
- Cost: $300
