Lecturer-to-Tenure-Track Conversion Pilot Program
The Lecturer-to-Tenure-Track Reclassification Pilot Program represents a strategic initiative designed to strengthen MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú's academic mission by expanding tenure-track faculty capacity while recognizing and retaining highly qualified lecturers who have demonstrated sustained excellence and meaningful contributions in the areas of teaching, research and scholarly activity, and service. Developed through a collaborative effort involving faculty, CFA representatives, and university leadership, the pilot creates an opportunity for eligible lecturers to transition into tenure-track appointments through a rigorous review process.
The program supports the university's goals of enhancing faculty stability, increasing tenure density, promoting student success, and investing in experienced educators who have already established a strong record of teaching, service, and engagement within the MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú community.
