MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú

The decline of student enrollment and retention remains a weltering challenge across the CSU system. MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú, however, has been working meticulously to reverse this trend. This 2023-24 academic year, Cal State Long Beach launches the new Beach XP learning community program.

This newly established training program launched in Spring 2023 as an opportunity to engage faculty and staff in supporting students with basic needs and mental health challenges. Founded using the six core principles of trauma-informed care, faculty and staff will gain skills to help our students empathetically and form responses that offer accountability and support.
