Angela Garcia-Navarro

Angela Garcia-Navarro is a Speech-Language Pathologist at Downey Unified School District, where she provides district-wide consultation in Assistive Technology (AT)/Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology and a Graduate Certificate in Assistive Technology from Northern Arizona University.
Angela is deeply committed to empowering students with complex communication needs (CCN) through innovative, collaborative, and student-centered supports. Her work emphasizes the integration of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and AT/AAC solutions to promote equitable access and active participation in the curriculum.
Outside of her professional role, Angela enjoys spending time outdoors and camping with her family.
