SAGE Book Presentation

Published January 27, 2026

The Center for Successful Aging is pleased to welcome Liz Renshaw-Breen as part of our ongoing Speaker Series. This event will feature an engaging discussion drawn from her years of experience working in assisted living and insights from her book, SAGE: A Journey to the Final Station – My Years Working in Assisted Living.

Through storytelling and dialogue, Renshaw-Breen will explore what is working in assisted living today, where harm can occur, and how more humane and sustainable systems of care can be created. Her talk will highlight the importance of elevating caregivers, addressing professional burnout, supporting leadership well-being, and recognizing the ways in which older adults often thrive within community-based settings.

This presentation offers valuable perspectives for faculty, students, professionals, and community members interested in aging, caregiving, and long-term care systems.
