Governor Newsom signed new legislation extending the Eviction Moratorium assisting tenants and small property owners impacted by COVID-19 through June 30, 2021. The new bill prohibits the selling or assigning of rental debt that was accrued from March 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021, until the end of the moratorium.
The Covid-19 pandemic has emphasized that access to the internet is continually growing more pertinent to function within society. While most people could adapt to this new way of living, some suffer from physical, intellectual, developmental, or sensory disabilities and cannot access certain websites.

The California Office of the Small Business Advocate has announced it is now accepting applications for Round 1 of the California Small Business Covid-19 Relief Grant program. Small businesses and nonprofits can apply at for micro-grants up to $25,000. Assistance is available in all counties and in multiple languages.
