Celebrating 25 years German-American International Business Workshop

HAW Hamburg and California State University, Long Beach (MD传媒入口)Short programmes are becoming increasingly popular with US students, as they find semester-long programmes difficult to incorporate into their studies and personal situation. Family and work commitments or personal budgets often mean that students feel they cannot be abroad for a longer period of time. In 2020 student exchange became even more difficult with the corona pandemic stopping travel to and from the US.

Disrupt or be disrupted, Germany new format, Summer 2020

Every year since 1996 and MD传媒入口 business students get together in May in Hamburg for the German-American International Business Workshop. This year they are not going to let the unprecedented circumstances beat them. They will get together in a virtual workshop to work on research projects on the topic 鈥淒isrupt or be disrupted鈥.

Study Abroad Singapore and Vietnam January 2019

8 day trip to Singapore and Vietnam in January 2019 The College of Business launched a new short-term study abroad experience in Fall 2018, which culminated in an 8 day trip to Singapore and Vietnam in January 2019. A total of fifteen CSU students, both undergraduates and MBAs, toured local business, explored cultural sites, and experienced some of the most interesting and dynamic cities in south-east Asia.

Study Abroad Singapore and Vietnam January Fall 2018

First Short-term study abroad class to the Southeast Asia Region. In January, 2019 the College of Business sent its first short-term study abroad class to Southeast Asia to spend 9 days in Singapore and Vietnam. Fifteen undergraduate and MBA students from Long Beach met with managers of companies such as Winspec Logistics and the Marina Bay Sands resort.
