Master of Science: Chemical Engineering

The MD´«Ã½Èë¿Ú campus is in the heart of Southern California just ​minutes away from sun kissed beaches. There is a vibrant local ​economy where students can get high-paying jobs in various ​fields. From 2019-2024, the Chemical Engineering faculty has ​been awarded 5.5 million dollars in research grants, and they ​have published 57 peer-reviewed journal publications. Graduate ​students can take advantage of the state-of-art research labs, ​faculty expertise and wide network of alumni to advance their careers.​
CHE MS Program details​
- 30 units required (i.e., 10 courses)
- Comprehensive exam or Thesis/Industrial project routes
- Most graduate courses offered in the evening, and some are offered in-person/zoom mode
Qualifications​
- No GRE and letters of recommendation required
- GPA of 2.6 or greater
- Students with B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering major (Mechanical, Materials, Biomedical, etc.)
- Science majors (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology etc.)
- We welcome international students (may need TOEFL or IELTS)
